In this section you should hopefully be able to find all the information on how the club is run. Use the menu to the right to navigate! The most important document is the constitution; this embodies the aims of the club, the rights and responsibilities of the membership, the make up and election of the committee, the running of club meetings, the core rules about the running of training sessions and how to change the constitution. Basically it’s the law and the committee and members must make sure they’re acting within the letter and spirit of it. We also have a document which sets out the Duties and Responsibilities of each of the Committee Members, this is reviewed each year at the AGM. As well as the official version which you can find on the menu on the right, each of the committee members this year has put together a paragraph saying what they’ve found to be the qualities which they feel are needed for their positions. Hopefully this should complement the Duties document in giving people an idea of what each committee position involves. Every year during Trinity Term we hold the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM); this is when the elections for next year’s committee take place, as well as a lot of the other official business of the club. The link on the right runs through the normal business which occurs during the AGM and should give you a good idea of what to expect this year. The final link is to the minutes of the AGM from 2004/2005, so you can see for yourself exactly what has happened before.
